Columbus, Ohio based guitarist Chris Steberl has been performing instrumental rock/metal music now for over 25 years since forming his band “Project Alcazar” back in 1989. The band has released a number of CDs over the years with the most successful one being “Reasons for a Decade” through Lion Music back in 2003. The CD received great reviews with Chris covering such classical composers such as Vivaldi, Mozart and Mussorgsky. The band won the local battle of the bands WITHOUT a singer and went on to support such national acts such as David Chastain, Neil Zaza, Greg Howe, Tony Macalpine, and Dream Theater. The bands current release is set to be released on Guitar One Records and is entitled Project Alcazar “Lost in Centralia” This stellar lineup of musicians includes ex Fates Warning/Warlord drummer Mark Zonder and keyboard virtuoso Caleb Hutslar. The new CD will be released through Guitar One Records as well as Spotify, I tunes, Amazon and all digital streaming music platforms online.
